Power Paandi: Gautham Menon plays a cameo in Dhanush's film

Riding high on the success of Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada, Gautham Menon is teaming up with Dhanush for Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta.

While the Vaaranam Aayiram filmmaker is currently wrapping up the remaining portion of the film, an interesting news about Power Paandi has cropped up.

Dhanush, who is making his directorial debut with Power Paandi, took to Twitter yesterday (December 4) and announced the release date of the film, which is on April 14, 2017.

While wishes kept pouring in from all corners, Gautham Menon too wished the Kolaveri star on Twitter.

Responding to his tweet, Dhanush made an interesting revelation. Going by his tweet, Gautham Menon will seen in a cameo appearance in Power Paandi.

Notably, Gautham is widely known for his cameo roles in films like Kaakha Kaakha, Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu, Yennai Arindhaal and Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada.

Power Paandi will have music by Sean Roldan. The film also stars Prasanna and Chaya Singh in pivotal roles. According to reports, Nadiya has been approached to play an important role in the film.

Bankrolled by Dhanush's home production Wunderbar Films, Power Paandi will feature Dhanush playing a cameo. Also, Madonna Sebastian has been roped in to star opposite Dhanush.

Meanwhile, the teaser of Dhanush-Gautham's Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta will be out on December 6.
