Gadkari’s daughter’s wedding a VIP affair

NAGPUR: At least ten chartered or special flights with VIPs landed at the city airport on Sunday for the wedding of Union transport minister Nitin Gadkari’s daughter’s marriage function, at Empress Palace Hall on Wardha Road.
While Union home minister Rajnath Singh and BJP national president Amit Shah reached in the morning, Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and others landed late on Saturday.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Yoga guru Ramdev, Union urban development minister Venkiah Naidu, Union minister of women and child development Maneka Gandhi, HRD minister Prakash Javdekar, and former aviation minister Praful Patel were among the other VVIPs who turned up at the wedding. Several cabinet colleagues of Fadnavis were also present.
Shiv Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray attended the wedding along with his wife and son Aditya to attend the wedding. Uddhav’s cousin and MNS chief Raj Thackeray was also there, but both Thackerays arrived at different times and were not seen together.
Gadkari’s daughter, Ketki, the youngest of three siblings, married Aditya, the son of Sandhya and Ravindra Kaskhedikar. Aditya works with Facebook in the US.
