Mandi, December 4
The police have arrested one Amar Chand (28) with 1.2-kg charas at Sola in Mandi. The accused is from Bhuntar.
He was on a bus when the police recovered charas from his possession. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered against him.
Man held with charas
Kullu: The police nabbed one person and seized 120 gram of charas from his possession during patrolling near Forest Colony at Shamshi, 8 km from here, yesterday.
Kullu SP Padam Chand said Mahinder Singh of Parganu village in Bhuntar subdivision of this district was arrested after the contraband was recovered from his possession during checking. The SP added that a case under the NDPS Act had been registered and further investigation was in progress. — OC
