Utsav to promote U’khand culture in Mumbai from Jan 20

DEHRADUN: The GTM Uttarakhand Utsav will be organised in Mumbai from January 20 to 22 next year.

The GTM Uttarakhand Utsav will be organised in Mumbai from January 20 to 22 next year. The Uttaranchal Friends Organisation (UFO), Garhwal Bhratri Mandal Mumbai and Movie Magic Entertainment Pvt. Ltd in association with GTM are organising the utsav with an aim to project and promote the simple, rich, spiritual and colourful culture of Uttarakhand in Mumbai. It will have an audience base of 10 lakh Uttarakhandis residing in Mumbai.

Rajesh Negi, Chairman of the UFO and MD of Movie Magic Entertainment Pvt. Ltd, said, “The utsav will explore better options for Uttarakhand through the three-day exhibition in Mumbai. We shall also have special Gangajal coming from Gangotri that shall be given to all devotees in Mumbai and elsewhere.”

Chairman and Managing Director of GTM Tushar Kumar said, “The simple and rich culture of Uttarakhand and the beautiful melody of the hills will enthrall Mumbaikars at Don Bosco Grounds, Boriveli (west) in the heart of Mumbai. It will be one of its kind event to promote the culture of Uttarakhand in Mumbai”.

Famous personalities from Uttarakhand such as Narendra Singh Negi, Shailenn Negi, Kalpana Chauhan, Rohit Chauhan, Meena Rana, Sangeeta Dhaundiyal, Mona Bhatt, Prabhakar Joshi, Jitendra Tomkyal, Nupur Pant and Madhuri Pandey will be performing at the utsav. On the opening day, the attraction of the utsav will be performances by Kalpana Chauhan, Rohit Chauhan, Mona Bhatt and Shailenn Negi.
