Tehreek-e Hurriyat on Sunday expressed serious concern about present gloomy situation in state and said that ruling class has  turned state into a forces garrison and big jail. It is very disturbing, while referring to uncertainty and distorted phase of civil rights, spokesman said that choking space and curbing fundamental rights won’t deter people from pursuing their mission.According to a statement issued to KNS, while expressing its anguish about increasing incidents of civilian deaths, ransacking properties, showering bullets, arrests and intimidations, spokesman said that death and destruction has become the routine. While criticizing inhuman and unethical behavior of forces and police, spokesman impressed world organizations for human rights to take cognizance of trampling of fundamental rights and killing spree unleashed by forces and state police. Spokesman lamented authorities for their highhandedness in nook and corner and said two civilians including Sajad Ahmad Malik and Assad Ullah Kumhaar were killed in cold blooded manner by terrorists in uniform.

While expressing his anguish over the unabated arrests, ransacking properties and misuse of Public Safety Act, spokesman said that despite court orders, detainees are re-arrested and lodged outside state. It is horrific that police and forces under disguise of preventive detentions slap PSA without applying their senses and following any norm. Even elderly and innocent children are booked under PSA, said spokesman and lashed at state administration and said that they are taking undue advantage of innocence of civilians and subjecting them to political reprisal. While warning ruling class for their arbitrary measures, spokesman said that since last 70 years they have opted this reign of terror and suppression but despite all this spirits of people are high and they are following their mission with full zeal and passion. All repressive and suppressive measures will yield nothing except a black slur for those working for interests of their masters in Delhi, said spokesman.Meanwhile chairman Tehreek-e- Hurriyat chairman Syed Ali Geelani expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Farooq Ahmad Magrey.
