Arsenal are ready to make an incredible bid to bring former Gunners midfielder Cesc Fabregas back to the Emirates, according to the Express.

Fabregas has not been a regular starter under Antonio Conte, with the new manager preferring Nemanja Matic and N’Golo Kante in midfield.

An injury to Matic did give Fabregas a start against Manchester City on Saturday though, and he responded by setting up Diego Costa’s goal in a 3-1 win.

If that is still not enough to convince Conte then Arsene Wenger is waiting to pounce, according to the Express, who say that the Frenchman would like to bring his former midfielder back to the club.
