Mumbai, Dec 4: Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways and Shipping, Nitin Gadkari’s daughter Ketki’s wedding will be held today in Nagpur in a traditional Maharashtrian manner. Ketki will be tying the knot with Aditya Kaskhedikar who is an employee of Facebook and is settled in San Francisco (USA). The big fat wedding will include 10,000 guests, including politicians and businessmen.

The list includes; Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP chief Amit Shah, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar, Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray and Piyush Goel are expected to attend the ceremony. Also, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Chhattisgarh CM Raman Singh, CM of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Baba Ramdev, Raj Thackeray are also expected to mark their attendance at the wedding ceremony of Ketki.

According to Hindustan Times report, 50 charter planes have been arranged for the to and fro travel of various ministers and Chief Minsters. The report further suggested that the flight ticket to Nagpur is not available from any part of the country, as flights are full to accommodate the heavy guest list flying into Nagpur city.

However, Nitin Gadkari’s office denied the report and issued a statement saying that “News that 50 chartered flights will ferry VIP’s for Nitin Gadkari’s daughter’s wedding are mischievous and incorrect. Only ten non-scheduled flights have landed at Nagpur airport in the last 24 hours”.

Other list includes eminent personalities like  Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) president  Mohan Bhagwat, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar,  Hema Malin, Amitabh Bachchan, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar, industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla and businessman.

The guest’s list also includes people from Congress party; Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Ghulam Nabi Azad and many others. President Pranab Mukherjee has also been invited.

Other list includes eminent personalities like  Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) president  Mohan Bhagwat, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar,  Hema Malin, Amitabh Bachchan, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar, industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla and businessman Mukesh Ambani.

Maharashtra Legislature will begin on December 5 and it will be convenient for the ministers to attend the wedding before it.
