Suriya and Gautham Menon combination have always struck a chord among the audience, be it Kaakha Kaakha or Vaaranam Aayiram. In fact, both the stars grew up together in Tamil cinema.

Suriya, who will next seen in Singam 3, says that the talks have already been initiated from both the ends. If everything falls in place, the project is likely to take off next year.

"It's about time we reunite. We have been in talks and something should materialise next year," Suriya told IANS.

Notably, Suriya was supposed to play the lead in Gautham's spy thriller Dhruva Natchathiram. However, they parted ways and also went on the record saying that they won't work again together.

Gautham Menon, who is basking in the success of Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada, is reviving Dhruva Natchathiram with Chiyaan Vikram in the lead.

Meanwhile, both Suriya and Gautham are busy with respective Thaana Serndha Koottam and Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta (ENPT).

While Suriya's Singam 3 is likely to release on December 23, Gautham's ENPT is expected to release next year.
