Kate Middleton To Be Focus Of New Film About The Royals, Subject Of Fake Miscarriage Rumor

It’s clear that commoners cannot get enough of the lives of the monarchy based on the obvious success of of the Netflix historical drama The Crown. The withdrawal that has come following binge watching the entire series won’t last much longer seeing as England’s most famous and powerful family will be gracing screens once more in a new BBC2 film. Glamour shares details about the upcoming film.

“According to a report from the BBC, the network has commissioned writer Mike Bartlett to adapt his award-winning play King Charles III into a television movie. The plot imagines Prince Charles’ turbulent accession to the throne following the death of the Queen and the chaos that ensues after he refuses to sign a controversial bill.”

The names of actors that are to play the roles of the royals, include Tim Pigott-Smith as Charles, and actress Charlotte Riley who has been chosen to play Kate Middleton. The Peaky Blinders actress is excited about being asked to portray the role of the Duchess of Cambridge. The publication shares the words of the actress.

“It’s such a unique project,” she told the BBC. “To be both modern and rich in verse and to play someone who is real but yet totally re-imagined for this story is an exciting prospect for an actor.”

It is surely an honor and a challenge to portray such a widely adored subject of royalty seeing as Middleton is known for her poise, fashion and endearing nature. It seems that Riley is up to the challenge. The 34-year-old wife of Tom Hardy shares, “Kate Middleton is a really interesting woman, particularly within the context of this play, and it is a challenge I am really looking forward to.”

No official release date of the film has been set, but filming is now set to begin seeing as all roles have been cast. Riley will likely shine in the role of Kate Middleton.

The Duchess is constantly in the spotlight for the real and the false. The portrayal of Kate will not involve any content based on a recently conjured up rumor that stated Middleton miscarried twins. The Hollywood Take debunks one of the most recent unfounded claims that made tabloid headlines lately.

The claim stated that the Duchess lost twin babies and that following the miscarriage, Kate Middleton and Prince William faced tension in their marriage. The publication relays the false words of a source.

“Instead of consoling each other over the miscarriage, Wills and Kate started bickering – and things escalated to the point where a sobbing Kate walked out!”

The report simply is untrue. Middleton was never pregnant with twins and did not suffer a miscarriage. She and Prince William are doing just fine and are content with their two little ones, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Middleton has been the subject of false pregnancy rumors since she gave birth to Princess Charlotte. One such rumor involved a story that Middleton was not traveling to Brazil during the Olympics over the summer due to pregnancy and morning sickness, as well as for fear of contracting the Zika virus.

Although there is no present pregnancy for the royal couple, reliable sources shared back in September that the royals do want a “third baby soon.”

“I think they both would have been overwhelmed at the thought of a third child a year ago,” the source said. “But now it sounds perfect. They’ve both always wanted a big family.”

Other rumors that have revolved around the Duchess include feud claims between she and her sister Pippa over her recent engagement to James Matthews, yet such claims have also been stamped out as false.
