RALEIGH –
Currently the owner of a 5-0 record within the friendly confines of the newly-renovated Reynolds Coliseum, the NC State women's basketball team (6-2) seeks to extend that mark Sunday afternoon against a team in the midst of its best start in program history. The Wolfpack will host the North Florida Ospreys Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. on Kay Yow Court inside Reynolds Coliseum. ACC Network Extra will provide live coverage.

LAST GAME
The NC State women's basketball team (6-2) picked up a big non-conference victory Thursday evening, defeating visiting Indiana 84-70 in the 2016 ACC/B1G Challenge on Kay Yow Court inside Reynolds Coliseum.
 
The Wolfpack built up an 18-point halftime lead and would ultimately stretch its advantage to 19 points midway through the third quarter before withstanding a furious Indiana rally that cut the lead to three points on two occasions in the final stanza. Leading 63-60 with 5:15 to play, the Wolfpack out­scored the Hoosiers 21-10 down the stretch to earn the victory.
 
Dominique Wilson led the Wolfpack with 23 points and was joined in double figures by 19 points (and 12 rebounds) from Chelsea Nelson and 17 points from Miah Spencer. Indiana's Tyra Buss led all scorers on the evening with an impressive career high of 38 points on 10-14 shooting and a 14-15 success rate from the free throw line.
 
NOTING THE WOLFPACK
-NC State enters Sunday's game the owner of a 6-2 record and a 5-0 mark at home.
-Jennifer Mathurin leads the team in scoring with 11.3 points per game.
-As of games played Dec. 2, NC State ranks 8th in the nation with 68 three-pointers made.
-With 23 points in the win over Indiana, redshirt senior Dominique Wilson became the 32nd player in program history to score 1,000 career points for the Red & White of NC State.
-Senior Jennifer Mathurin played in her 100th career game for NC State on Thursday vs. Indiana.
 
SCOUTING THE OSPREYS
-North Florida enters Sunday's game the owner of a 5-3 record and is off to its best start to a season in program history.
-The Ospreys have won two straight games, defeating Nicholls State 77-74 and winning at common opponent College of Charleston 60-47.
-Claire Ioannidis leads the team with 15.4 points per game.
-North Florida is coached by Darrick Gibbs, who is in his second season at the helm of the program. Last year, the Ospreys went 7-23. This season, they were projected to finish fifth in the Atlantic Sun.
