Trump tweets at Tiger Woods: ‘Great to have you back’
President-elect Donald Trump celebrated Tiger Woods’ return to golfing with a tweet Saturday.
“Great to have you back Tiger – Special!” Trump wrote, in response to a tweet sent by Woods on Thursday.
“@TigerWoods: Can’t wait to get back out there and mix it up with the boys. –TW #heroworldchallenge” Great to have you back Tiger – Special!

{mosads}Woods is competing at the PGA Tour’s Hero World Challenge this week after a 15-month playoff from professional golf due to injuries.
Woods had a vintage performance Friday in the tournament’s second day. “I really had it dialed in both ways,” the golfer said of his showing.
Trump is both an avid amateur golfer himself and the owner of multiple golf courses.
Woods, considered among the greatest golfers of all time, became a tabloid fixture in 2009 when a domestic incident led to the revelations of his repeated infidelity and eventual divorce.
