Chandler Parsons, who has played in only six of the Memphis Grizzlies' 20 games this season because of knee trouble, did a Twitter Q&A on Friday. He told one fan that she wouldn't want him to take her chemistry test for her. He told another that he is "secretly" a Milwaukee Bucks fan because of Giannis Antetkounmpo. The best part: somebody asked him what he wants for Christmas.

"Healthy knees," Parsons responded.

Concern about Parsons' right knee, which required season-ending knee surgery last March, led the Dallas Mavericks to let him walk in free agency and kept Parsons out of Memphis' lineup at the start of the season. He made his Grizzlies debut on Nov. 6, but has been sidelined since playing against his former team on Nov. 18 in Dallas because of a bone bruise in his left knee.

Before that March surgery, Parsons was playing arguably the best basketball of his career, having fully recovered from a "minor hybrid" microfracture surgery on his right knee the previous May. Memphis could really use that version of him to provide offensive stability and playmaking, especially with point guard Mike Conley out with a back injury. If his knees could stay healthy for an extended period of time, it would be a wonderful gift for both Parsons and his team.
