Italian club AC Milan is honoring Chapecoense after the Brazilian club lost the majority of its players and officials in Monday's horrific plane crash in Colombia, with 71 deaths in total, including flight crew and journalists. The club said it will be wearing a special jersey in Sunday's Serie A match against Crotone.

Per AC Milan:

Only a few days after the air crash which involved the Chapecoense [team], AC Milan wants to commemorate the victims of this tragedy wearing a special jersey dedicated to the Brazilian club in Sunday's match against Crotone. On the shirts' sleeves there will be the team's logo, while on the back there will be written "FORÇA CHAPE". All the jerseys worn by the players will be sent and donated to Chapecoense.

Here's a look at the jerseys.

Respect. That's cool, isn't it? And it make sense for Milan to do it. The club has long been connected to Brazilian soccer, with guys like Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Kaka, Pato, Rivaldo, Dida, Cafu, Thiago Silva, Leonardo and more playing for the club.

It's a small gesture but a sweet one. Bravo.
