ISLAMABAD: Former Pakistani Ambassador to the US Senator Sherry Rehman lambasted the government for releasing the details of the phone call between US President-elect Donald Trump and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Vice President of PPP, in a statement, said, “releasing that unabridged readout without permission represented a total breach of diplomatic norms and has placed Pakistan in a poor light.” Sherry believes that there is no way that a trained Foreign Service Officer would release this kind of granular details on their own, they are way too experienced for that.
