CM’s nod for transfer of land

Youth found dead

Sumeet Kumar (18) of Jaipur village of Yamunanagar district died under mysterious circumstances. According to information, Sumeet, who worked at a photo studio in Radaur, did not return home on Thursday night. His body was found lying under a bridge of a seasonal rivulet near Kanjanu village on Friday. After getting information, the SHOs of Radaur and Jathlana police stations visited the spot. TNS

22-yr-old girl goes missing

Mandeep, a 22-year-old girl of Arjan Nagar here, went missing from her house on Thursday night. On the complaint of her father Sohan Lal, the police have registered a case under Section 346 of the IPC against unknown culprit and started investigation into the matter. OC

Ambala

Man stabbed

A resident of Patiala, Virender (28), sustained serious injuries after he was attacked with a knife on the courts complex here on Friday. The victim was attacked while he was returning from the court after appearing as witness. He ran towards the chamber of his lawyer where he fell down. The injured was admitted to the Civil Hospital. The police are investigating. OC
