BANGKOK:India bowled out minnows Nepal for the lowest-ever total of 21 runs to notch up a resounding 99-run win in the Women’s Asia Cup T20 tournament match.

India bowled out minnows Nepal for the lowest-ever total of 21 runs to notch up a resounding 99-run win in the Women’s Asia Cup T20 tournament match. 

The Indian women scored 120/5 in 20 overs with Shikha Pandey top-scoring with an unbeaten 32-ball 39. Pandey and captain Harmanpreet Kaur (14 not out) scored 51 runs for the unbroken sixth wicket to put up a total of 120 runs. 

Nepal were bowled out for just 21 in 16.3 overs, the lowest total in the women’s T20 Internationals. — PTI
