Woman, 69, dies after being hit by skip lorry in Slough

A 69-year-old pedestrian has died after being hit by a skip lorry.
The woman was walking on the A4 Wellington Street in Slough at about 08:50 GMT on Friday when the incident happened.
She was taken to hospital with serious injuries but was pronounced dead later in the day.
Thames Valley Police said it is appealing for witnesses and that the driver of the lorry is assisting officers with their investigation.
