MBT to Observe ‘Black Day’ on Dec 6

The Majlis Bachao Tahreek (MBT) has demanded speedy trial of both the title case of Babri Masjid and cases against the accused responsible for demolition of the mosque.  To press these demands, the MBT is organizing Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Bandh on December 6.

Stating this at a media meet here today, MBT President Majeed Ullah Khan, General Secretary Mustafa Mahmood and other office –bearers urged the people to observe the day as ‘black day’ and voluntary bandh.  They said the MBT is also organizing a protest public meeting at Urdu hall, Moghalpura in the city on December 3.

They said that if saner, secular forces failed in defending the secular agenda and save secularism which preaches unity in diversity, the fascist fundamentalist reactionary forces would subvert the very idea of Secular India and make   the country a theocratic state in which the majority on strength of numbers would try to deprive the fundamental rights of Minorities.
