Bank Staff Body Asks Chandrababu to Withdraw his Remarks

The Andhra Pradesh – Telangana States Regional Rural banks Employees Association has taken strong exception to the remarks made by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu that the bank staff are negligent and non-cooperative.

     

In a press note here. Association General Secretary S Venkateswar Reddy said they were astonished at the remarks passed by Naidu against the Bankers.  “The thoughtless remarks are not befitting of his stature and are demoralizing the sincere workforce of banks in the present context of financial crisis.  Rather it is the total failure of the Governments in arranging supply of cash to the bankers by pursuing with the RBI and the Central Government.   They can’t blame the bankers to cover up their lapses and fppl the people’, he said and demanded the Chief Minister to withdraw  his demotivating  comments and extend  total support to the Banks in arranging cash from RBI to meet the needs of people. 

       ‘We hope such de-motivating comments do not recur compelling us to go on a agitation path in safeguarding morale of our employees’, he added. (NSS)
