Sky Sports rugby presenter Alex Payne previews Saturday's showdown between England and Australia as the hosts go in search of a record-equalling 14th successive victory.

What a grand finale to England's 2016.

If Eddie Jones wants to know how far his men have come, he'll get the answer by Saturday night.

It feels like a final. England are aiming for an unbeaten year and to equal the record of 14 consecutive Red Rose victories.  Although Australia have to pick themselves up from the disappointment of seeing their Grand Slam dreams fade in Ireland, they are out for revenge after the summer whitewash.

Interestingly, England have won eight of the last 10 meetings. And yet, this feels like it is going to be very, very tight.

England have been convincing, even with 14 men, but not astounding this autumn. They have lost the hugely influential Billy Vunipola and the spark that looked set to ignite them in Elliot Daly.

This is still a settled squad, one that has not appeared at all flustered under Eddie Jones, but they are going to face a stern challenge on Saturday. Australia are much improved from the summer and in amongst all the verbals, the England head coach has paid respect to their rugby intelligence. He knows what's coming.

But England seem prepared.  What has been increasingly noticeable is how, when England take control of a game, it is very hard to wrestle it back from them. If the pack gets on top, England should finish the year on a high and win by 6-10 at 5/1 with Sky Bet.

Electric England: Ben Youngs has had a fine autumn for England, but has only one try in his last 17 tests. He is 18/1 to get going again with the first try on Saturday.

For the safer bet, the try counter for England's wingers just keeps climbing - 28 tries in 23 tests. Jonny May has scored five in his last eight for England and is 10/11 to score anytime, but Marland Yarde has four in seven and was carving up in training last week.  He is 11/8 anytime.

LONDON, ENGLAND - NOVEMBER 29: Bernard Foley of Australia breaks through to score his team's first try during the QBE international match between England

Australia ambush: Bernard Foley has four tries in five starts against England and looks sharp at 10 at the moment - 22/1 is very juicy for the fly half to score the first try. Tevita Kuridrani delivered for this blog last week and in doing so is now on for a try in all five autumn games. The big centre is 7/2 for an anytime score.
