Apart from Sindhu, gymnast Dipa Karmakar was the second most searched sportsperson in India. The gymnast, who put India on the world map in gymnastics, finished fourth at the Rio Olympics, missing the bronze medal by just 0.150 points. She pulled off the deadly Prudonova vault but even that could not get her the medal. She has not competed internationally after the Olympics in August.
