Gabriel Jesus has touched down in Britain, three months after the Brazilian completed a £27m move to Manchester City.
After helping Palmeiras to win their first Brazilian title in 22 years, the 19-year-old made the trip across the Atlantic to meet up with manager Pep Guardiola and two of his new team-mates..
Compatriots Fernandinho and Fernando joined Jesus, director of football Txiki Begiristain and Guardiola at a Brazilian restaurant in the city to celebrate his arrival.
Jesus completed his move to the Etihad in the summer but was loaned back to his club until the end of the year.
Speaking on the club's official website, Fernandinho said: "He is a young player with a lot of desire who wants to show his quality here in Europe. I know him very well from playing alongside him in the national team.
"He is a special talent and a goal-scorer and I hope he can score a lot of goals for us and he's going to be one of the best players in the Premier League soon."
Jesus, who has scored four goals in six games for the Brazilian national side, will watch his new team-mates in action for the first time when they take on Chelsea in front of the Sky Sports cameras on Saturday morning.
