PEN America will unveil the longlisted titles for the 2017 PEN America Literary Awards throughout the week next week.
Every day of the week, the organization will reveal the longlists on its website. Monday, the group will reveal the longlist for PEN/Robert W. Bingham Prize for Debut Fiction PEN/E.O. Wilson Literary Science Writing Award. Tuesday, the group will unveil the nominees for the PEN Open Book Award PEN/ESPN Award for Literary Sports Writing. Wednesday, December 7, they will release the longlist for the PEN/Diamonstein-Spielvogel Award for the Art of the Essay PEN/Jacqueline Bograd Weld Award for Biography. Thursday the PEN Award for Poetry in Translation PEN Translation Prize list goes live. Friday the list for the PEN/John Kenneth Galbraith Award for Nonfiction will be shared.
Finalists will be announced on January 18, and winners for most of the awards will be revealed on February 22. The winners will be honored in a ceremony at The New School’s Tishman Auditorium in New York on March 27.
