3 held for Taloja factory fire

NAVI MUMBAI: Police have arrested two owners and a plant supervisor of Nidilax Finechem Pvt Ltd in Taloja MIDC, where a fire broke out on Wednesday evening, killing two workers.
The owners, Aatik Shaikh (54) and Asif Shaikh (44), and plant supervisor Parvez Ahmad (32) have been booked under IPC Section 304A (causing death by negligence), 336 (act endangering life or personal safety of others), 285 (negligent conduct with respect to fire or combustible matter) and 287 (negligent conduct with respect to machinery).
