At a time when the entire country is dealing with cash crunch due to
demonetization, the film industry is no exception.
While some movies are doing the business that the team expected, others are deferring their release and shoot schedule. Joining the list of films changing their schedules due to cash crunch is '
Munna Michael'. The Delhi schedule of the
Tiger Shroff and
Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starrer was supposed to take place in the last week of November, but has now been deferred till February.
A source close to the team tells us, 'The film was scheduled to be shot in different Delhi locations, including
North Campus, central Delhi and South Extension. Till a few weeks back, the shoot was supposed to start from the last week of November. But after the demonetization and the ensuing cash crunch, the shoot will now happen in February. The crew members who are to be hired on a daily basis cannot be paid through cheques.'
