Poisonous medicine in fake pharmaceutical factory adjacent to Adiala Jail
Factory making fake medicine found in Rawalpindi, poisonous injections taken into custody today
RAWALPINDI: (Dunya News) – Poisonous medicine was found being prepared in a fake pharmaceutical factory, adjacent to Adiala Jail. Poisonous injections and fake medicine were also taken into custody. The factory is set up right next to police check post in Adiala Jail, reported Dunya News.
Fake medicine and poisonous injections were found in the raid by Drug Control Authority. The suspects succeeded in fleeing, however.
Large quantities of unregistered medicine, bluster machine, syrup tank, creams and machines used to prepare them were found in the factory. Adiala Jail’s police check-post is also located right at the gate of the factory but the police had no knowledge about it. Fake medicine was being supplied in the twin cities, Punjab and Azad Kashmir.
Drug Controller Naveed Anwar sealed the factory while the mobile phones and WiFi systems of the suspects were taken into custody. Raids are being conducted in various areas for their arrest.
