More from the world of Entertainment:
The Telangana minister is quite close to the Tollywood star as KTR had also attended the actor’s airline Trujet’s inaugural function last year and more recently the minister also joined Charan at Hyderabad 10k run last month. Meanwhile, Dhruva created a lot of buzz after its songs and its trailer got a lot of traction on social media. The trailer registered close to 4.6 million views on YouTube.
Dhruva is the official Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster Thani Oruvan. Music is composed by Hiphop Tamizha, who also composed for the Tamil original and cinematography is by PS Vinod. Under Surender Reddy’s direction, the film features Rakul Preet Singh who plays Ram Charan’s ladylove, apart from Arvind Swamy who is also seen playing a negative role.
The film is expected to be a big show for the star as it packs some heavy-duty action sequences shot in exotic and remote locations. Rakesh Udiyar, who has worked with Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Aamir Khan in Sultan and Dangal respectively, has also been working with Ram Charan for his bulky yet rugged look in Dhruva.
