The virility of the Ford Endeavour’s appearance can be accentuated in a lot of ways. While some like their Endeavours to be impregnated with as much chrome as possible, some like the stealthy look. There’s good news for the ones who prefer the latter treatment, as Ford Thailand has some inspiration to give.
Gracing the floors of the ongoing 2016 Thai Motor Expo is a lightly customized Ford Everest (Endeavour) based on the Everest 2.2L Titanium+ grade. The subtle Aluminum Metallic paint-job is complimented by matte black finishes on the erstwhile chromed parts.
Up front, it features a matte black grille, a gloss black finished skid plate, while the sides get additional black wheel arch cladding and blacked out 18-inch alloy wheels. The rear end gets a gloss black finished skid plate as well. Inside, there is black leather upholstery and an all black dashboard to stick to the exterior theme.
Similar to the model sold in India, the Ford Everest is available in Thailand with a choice between 3.2- and 2.2-litre Duratorq 5-cylinder turbo-diesel engines. Both engines are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, while the 3.2L variant is exclusively fitted a 4WD system with Active Terrain Management.
