Hyderabad: Tahsildar Waheeda Khatoon appeared in the court for the 2nd day during the hearing of Akber Owaisi attack case. Advocate G Guru Moorthy grilled her. The witness admitted that she did not mention the injuries sustained by Ibrahim Yafai and that the bullet pierced the body of Ibrahim Yafai however she denied that she did this at the behest of police. Tahsildar Mrs. Waheeda Khatoon who submitted the inquest panchnama of Ibrahim Yafai told the court that before drawing inquest panchnama she went to Owaisi hospital and inspected some witnesses. She also admitted that she neither took advice from superintendent nor any doctor of the hospital for recording the statements of the witnesses undergoing treatment at Owaisi Hospital. She told that she didn’t know that two more injured in the case were undergoing treatment at Yashoda Hospital.
She only mentioned Ibrahim bin Younus Yafai who died in firing of police constable number 1223 and injured Awad bin Younus Yafai and Abdullah bin Younus Yafai. During grilling the witness said that not mentioning the injury marks on the body of the deceased was not deliberate.
