Kirk Douglas has the ability to stop airplane turbulence

“Spartacus” could stop air turbulence.

During a 92nd Street Y event on Tuesday, we hear that movie mogul Harvey Weinstein shared an anecdote about once being on a plane that was experiencing turbulence with the star of the 1960 classic film, Kirk Douglas.

“He said Douglas, midconversation, said he ‘would take care of it,’ walked towards the cockpit, had a conversation with someone, and shortly after the turbulence stopped.”

Harvey was joined at the Upper East Side talk by brother Bob, who left prizes under audience members’ seats. Winners won a trip to the brothers’ Golden Globes party and invites to the premieres of the Matthew McConaughey movie “Gold” and Michael Keaton’s “The Founder.”
