CPS orders FIR against depot holder

Chief Parliament Secretary Dr Kamal Gupta has directed SP Pankaj Nain to register a case against a depot holder of Balhera village for harassing villagers by diverting goods received under PDS.

The CPS was chairing a district public grievance redress meeting at the Panchayat Bhawan today. Aalamdin, a resident of Balhera village, had accused Yunas of selling goods in the open market instead of distributing them among villagers. The accusations were found to be true in an inquiry conducted by the DFSC. The department also cancelled the depot holder’s licence. — TNS
