The pair have both been criticised on social media in the past, including over their performance at the finale.

Unathi took to Instagram after the performance to share the encouragement that Zola gave her.

"He says to me 'Nhanha very few people can say they have song of the year yet we are so hard on ourselves.'  I love him for so many reasons...I'm just lost for words! I owe my music career, idols, etc ( to him)" she wrote.
