Fiat heir Lapo Elkann was set to host one of Art Basel’s most glam parties in Miami on Thursday with Rosario Dawson — until, that is, he was arrested Sunday for allegedly faking his own kidnapping after a two-day bender with a transgender escort in a New York housing project.
Now we hear event organizer Surf Lodge isn’t expecting him anymore.
“The family usually puts him on lockdown after something like this,” said a source.
Cops hit Elkann with a misdemeanor charge for falsely reporting an incident.
