Katy Perry And Orlando Bloom Engagement Rumors Surface After Selena Gomez Cheating Allegations

Pop star Katy Perry has been spotted rocking a massive ring while walking around in New York.

Rumors that Katy Perry and boyfriend Orlando Bloom are engaged are now swirling around.

“Katy Perry, 32, and Orlando Bloom, 39, are sparking major engagement rumors after walking around New York City on November 28 with a particularly interesting accessory.”

A Hollywood Life report notes that Katy was wearing the new rock on her ring finger as the couple dined at the Polo Club. The ring appeared to be a diamond ring.

The report notes hopefully that recent breakup rumors may be false, and the couple may instead be taking their relationship to the next level.

“While the news definitely isn’t confirmed, it looks like congratulations are in order for the happy couple! Take that, breakup rumors! The gorgeous ring appears to be an oval-cut yellow diamond, surrounded by smaller, classic stones. It’s breathtaking!”

Breakup rumors have been swirling since Orlando was spotted looking very cozy with Selena Gomez at a nightclub, reports Daily Mail. Orlando was definitely dating Katy at the time.

“What will Katy say? Selena Gomez and Orlando Bloom are pictured looking VERY cozy while nuzzling each other at a Las Vegas nightclub.”

An insider told the press that Orlando and Selena are “absolutely just friends.” Observers in the club stated that the pair were not kissing, only talking closely.

Selena Gomez did date Orlando once, before he was with Katy Perry, and reportedly said that sex with him is “mind-blowing,” according to Hollywood Life.

“The singer finds sex with Orly to be ‘mind-blowing,’ and she just can’t stay away, according to a new report!”

Katy Perry is known to have bad blood with Selena’s best friend Taylor Swift. In fact, Taylor’s hit song “Bad Blood” is said to be about Katy Perry.

Swift was apparently furious when Katy Perry pinched some of her backup dancers during a tour. Many have speculated that the “Bad Blood” line “Did you have to hit me where I’m weak? Baby I couldn’t breathe” may be about Taylor Swift’s weak dancing ability. Swift may be a good lyricist and guitar player, but perhaps she does not regard herself as a good dancer.

When Selena appeared to start chasing Orlando, many wondered if she was doing it with BFF Taylor’s blessing.

Just after Halloween this year, there was another rumor that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom had split. This time, sources said that the couple split because “they are on different life paths.”

Katy and Orlando appeared to have put any drama behind them as they strolled along together this week, and Katy seemed eager to show off her new diamond ring.

The Hollywood Life report notes that Katy strutted through New York with her left arm in front of her, as if she was eager for people to see the ring.

An observer even said that Katy bent her hand to show the rock to the cameras.

“[Katy] walked with her left hand leading her, and bent her hand to show off the large sparkler to the cameras.”

Katy and Orlando have both been married before.

Katy Perry was married to comedian Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012. Brand is now happily married and has just welcomed his first child, a daughter named Mabel, according to Daily Mail. This prompted speculation that Katy Perry is eager to keep up with her happy ex and wants to hurry things along with current beau Orlando.

New father Russell Brand told reporters this year, “I feel lit up by the idea [of fatherhood]. I’m very excited about becoming a dad and I’m preparing myself. I am just getting ready to be with a new little person and see what it is they want.”

Orlando was married to supermodel Miranda Kerr until 2013, and the couple have a son together.
