Prithvi bags another outing with preetham?

The actor, who is making his debut with Preetham Gubbi’s film, may soon make another with the director and under the Hombale Films’ banner

For a debutant trying to make an impact, Prithvi knows that he has to be careful of the company he keeps. The grandson of veteran musician G K Venkatesh, who will be seen playing the lead in Naanu Mattu Varalakshmi directed by Preetham Gubbi, is already reaping benefits of his familiarity with the film industry.

While the young talent just signed his second film Muthina Haara, according to the latest buzz in Gandhinagar, Hombale Films of Vijay Kiragandur and creative producer Karthik Gowda will be producing
Prithvi’s third film. Interestingly, the film will be directed by Preetham Gubbi.

According to sources, discussions are on and, if everything goes as per plan, Hombale Films will bring the actor and director together for the second time. The production house, which is known to produce big stars and big budget films, started with Ninnindale with Puneeth Rajkumar and later produced Masterpiece starring Yash. Their current projects are Raajakumara followed by KGF  with Yash.

If Prithvi and Preetham’s project is finalised, this will be the first big step the production house takes in associating with new talents. Prithvi is among the current crop of young actors and catching the attention of a big production is raising the bar.

Meanwhile, Prithvi’s debut film Naanu Mattu Varalakshmi, distributed by Jayanna, will be released on December 16. The films opening was delayed once or twice and initially was to hit the screens on November 25. But after the demonetisation drive, the date had been delayed.
Naanu Mattu Varalakshmi also marks the debut of Malavika Mohanan in Kannada and features senior actor Prakash Raj and Madhoo. The film’s music is by V Harikrishna and cinematography by Preetha Jayaram.
