Ricky Martin is set to launch his own residency in Las Vegas next year, but in the meantime he’s taking up residence on Los Angeles’ Westside. The Latin music star has bought an estate in the Beverly Crest area for $13.5 million, property records show.

Named the Feldman house for its first owner, the Midcentury Modern-style house dates to 1953 and is among the last major works of architect Gregory Ain.

The seven-bedroom, 8.5-bathroom house, renovated and expanded to 11,300 square feet of living space, features an open floor plan with large formal areas, hardwood floors and a range of contemporary materials. Walls of wood-paneled of windows bring in views of the home’s natural setting.

The master suite has a sanctuary-like feel with a floating two-way fireplace, an inner courtyard and a private executive kitchen. A large soaking tub with a cascading waterfall serves as the centerpiece of lavish master bath.

Outdoors, a long patio runs the length of the home and surrounds an infinity-edge swimming pool and spa. Accent lighting illuminates the three-quarter-acre grounds.

The house came up for sale this summer for $16.9 million and was listed at $13.8 million prior to the sale.

Jana Bezdek of Teles Properties was the listing agent. Joshua and Matthew Altman of Douglas Elliman represented the buyer.

The 44-year-old Martin is a two-time Grammy winner whose hits include “Livin’ la Vida Loca,” “She Bangs” and “Adios.” He will begin his residence at the Monte Carlo’s Park Theater in April.
