Mohammed Shami wrecks Chris Woakes with two back-to-back bouncers, watch video

New Delhi: India took a commanding 2-0 lead in the 5-match Test series against England with a 4-day victory in Mohali today. India's lower-middle order comprising of Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Jayant Yadav was spectacular to put 72, 90 and 55 runs respectively after Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara had registered half-centuries.

With the ball, Indians were as good, sharing the wickets among themselves be it spinners or pacers.

In the 84th over of the match a spectacular incident took place when Mohammed Shami bowled two back-to-back bouncers at England's Chis Woakes.

The first bouncer got Woakes' helmet's neck guard coming off but the batsman came out unhurt.

With most people thinking that Shami would rather ease-up and not ball a bouncer again for some, the Indian seamer bowled bouncer on 2nd consecutive delivery and got rid off the English batsman.

The sharp bouncer came out as a shock to Waokes who lobbed it off the handle of the bat for an easy catch for the wicket keeper Parthiv Patel.
