Kabali-Sultan together: Rajinikanth, Salman Khan to team up for Rockline Venkatesh's next?

Rumour has it that producer Rockline Venkatesh, who's known for films like Lingaa and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, is planning to rope in two big superstars of India cinema -Rajinikanth and Salman Khan.

While the first look posters of 2.0 has already piqued the curiosity quotient, an interesting update about superstar Rajinikanth and Sultan star Salman Khan has surfaced online.

According to reports, producer Rockline Venkatesh, who bankrolled films like Thalaivar's Lingaa and Bhai's Bajrangi Bhaijaan, is planning to rope in both the superstars for a film.

Salman Khan, who made a surprise entry at 2.0 first look event, said, "I wasn't invited. I heard they were doing this and I decided to come to meet Rajini Garu."

Interestingly, when superstar Rajinikanth was asked if he would like to work with Salman Khan, Thalaivar instantly said, "If Salman says 'yes,' I'm ready to begin the picture tomorrow."

However, we await an official confirmation regarding the same.

Meanwhile, both Rajinikanth and Salman Khan are busy with their respective 2.0 and Tubelight.

2.0, which is directed by Shankar, also stars Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain in pivotal roles.

Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, the film is being made on a lavish budget of Rs 350 crore and will be simultaneously released in Hindi and Telugu, apart from Tamil.
