The Studio Theatre space at the Leicester Square Theatre will become "Gatsby's Speakeasy" this Christmas for Ruby In The Dust's, six week run of 'GATSBY'. It opens tonight 29th November and continues into next year with its final performance on January 15th.

Audiences will be encouraged to enter into the party atmosphere by dressing up and sipping Gatsby-themed cocktails before the show. A password will be given with the ticket that allows them entry, adding to the exclusive, 'prohibition-era' atmosphere. An alternative way to celebrate Christmas, or the New Year, as we race towards the 'Roaring Twenties' of the new millennium; celebrating 100 years since 'Jay Gatsby' held his first parties!

On its world premiere in 2012, its sold out run at the Kings Head Theatre led to three Off West End nominations for best new musical, best costume and best lighting design; and transferred to the Riverside Studios. It was most recently staged at the Union Theatre, and is now returning, by invitation, to the Leicester Square Theatre, bringing a new 'electro-swing' feel to the party.

"Jay Gatsby reigns over his carnival parties, drives his 'circus wagon' to Coney Island and lights up his house like the World Trade Fair. But when the lights go out - the carnival is over. And when the carnival is over - the Carnival King must die..."

Enter into the spirit by visiting Gatsby's 'Speakeasy' down in the depths of the Lounge at the Leicester Square Theatre. Put on your glad-rags and pearls and sip at 'Prohibition Cocktails'.

But be prepared for the party to crash, when Tom Buchanan discovers that Gatsby is in love with his wife, Daisy. He is determined to destroy his world - "built on a fairy's wing."

GATSBY: The epitome of glitz, glamour and the American Dream. But the party's almost over, even though Jay Gatsby desperately tries to keep his dream alive.

The performance will run from Tuesday to Saturdays at 7 pm with matinees on Saturday and Sunday at 4 pm. For tickets contact the Box Office on 0207 734 2222 or visit www.leicestersquaretheatre.com.
