14-year-old girl strangulated to death in Karnal

KARNAL: A 14-year-old girl was found dead at her house in Nalipar, Karnal, on Sunday night. The victim Renu was a student of class IX at government high school, Kunjpura.
On Sunday evening, when police got the information about the sudden death of the teenager, her body was sent to Kalpana Chawla civil hospital for autopsy. The autopsy report revealed the girl was strangulated to death.
Kunjpura station house officer Manoj Kumar said, "Police was informed on Sunday night at 9pm and investigations were started under Section 174 CrPC but after the autopsy report it was clear that the girl was strangulated to death and a murder case was registered in the matter.No reason of murder has been revealed yet."
