Initiate tech-based business, minister urges youth

JAMMU: Minister of Industries and Commerce Chander Parkash Ganga today urged the youth to initiate technology-based business.

Minister of Industries and Commerce Chander Parkash Ganga today urged the youth to initiate technology-based business. The minister was speaking at the valedictory function of the Entrepreneurship Skill Development Programme (EDSP), which concluded at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra.

The programme was organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Development Institute, Jammu.

Minister of Industries and Commerce Chander Parkash Ganga distributed certificates to the participants and stressed upon them on product quality consciousness while starting any business. Chander Parkash also highlighted the rapid changes in trend pattern occurring in the business world.

Earlier, during the function, Dr Sanjeev Jain, Vice Chancellor, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, stressed on ethics in business to achieve top positions.

Dr Suparn Sharma, Chief Coordinator, Entrepreneurship Development Cell, also gave details of the different sessions and industrial visits made during the event.

Director, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Virinder Sharma highlighted the inputs given during the training programme in terms of marketing skills, production management, human resource management, etc.
