Jahanbakhsh Pays Tribute to Victims of Iraq Terror Attack

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Alireza Jahanbakhsh refused to celebrate after scoring against Heracles, expressing sympathy with the survivors of last week’s terror attack in Iraq and a collision of trains in Iran’s Semnan province.
The Iranian player scored AZ Alkmaar’s fifth goal in injury time in 5-1 victory over Heracles on Sunday but didn’t celebrate his goal.
A suicide truck bomb killed about 100 people, many of them Iranian Shiite pilgrims, at a petrol station in the city of Hilla 100 km (62 miles) south of Baghdad on Thursday.
Daesh (ISIL or ISIS) claimed responsibility for the attack.
Also, at least 45 Iranians were killed in the train crash which occurred near Haft-Khan station, on the railroad linking the Iranian cities of Semnan and Damghan, in a mountainous area on Friday.
