    Rich Barlow is a senior writer at BU Today and Bostonia magazine. Perhaps the only native of Trenton, N.J., who will volunteer his birthplace without police interrogation, he graduated from Dartmouth College, spent 20 years as a small-town newspaper reporter, and is a former Boston Globe religion columnist, book reviewer, and occasional op-ed contributor.   1. All the best to Rev. Coleman. Given that Trump is still tweeting about election fraud in light of his not getting the popular vote, I’m just a bit scared that her effort is a bit premature in light of post election developments. When clergy are seen to be supporting a candidate who has little respect for the democratic process, it can reflect badly on the credibility of their flock and the broader church. Time heals and the truth will hopefully emerge. In the meantime, building the mechanism for reconciliation is far more important than pretending that it exists, and so I’m very grateful to Rev. Coleman for her efforts.
