Tollywood playback singer Geetha Madhuri is making her foray into acting with upcoming film Metro. The filmmakers released the first look poster and a promo of song Nenaa sung by Geetha.
The film is said to be inspired from chain-snatching incidents in the country. Geetha will be seen sporting an urban and punky look. Film director Suresh Kondeti shared that the film will be one of the finest ones that would surely entertain the Telugu audience.

“Popular singer Geetha Madhuri’s song will be very special in this film. The song will be a melodious and visual treat. This film will be a sure-shot hit. The dubbing of this film is done and first copy will be ready soon,” said Kondeti.
The filmmakers are banking on Geetha’s fame and her singing prowess for Metro, which is set to release soon.
“Our film Metro will hit the screens soon. The melody song sung by Geetha Madhuri will be a big asset for our film. This talented singer also performed well in this song. We are releasing the first look stills of Geetha Madhuri,” said film producer Rajini Talluri.
Geetha Madhuri shot to fame after her blockbuster song Ninne Ninne from Nachavule. She also won a Filmfare award in 2015 for song Jeevanadhi from blockbuster film Baahubali. Geetha has recorded close to 350 songs in films like Ram Charan’s Chirutha and Prabhas’ Mirchi. Being often called in Tollywood as the “Shreya Ghosal of the south” the singer worked with many popular music directors including Ilayaraja, Koti and Keeravani.
