fiogf49gjkf0d Britannia NutriChoice Essentials presented the second edition of the Diabetic Food Trail in association with Biocon, with a larger scope and a new outlook for diabetics, pre-diabetics and health-conscious individuals at Powai’s Meluha The Fern.
In a first, the Diabetic Masterclass was held at over 200 restaurants across Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore and Pune. The masterclasses kicked off in Mumbai and went on to other cities.
Seema Pinto, co-founder,The Diabetic Food Trail, started with an introduction to living with diabetes,where she shared her personal experiencewith diabetes.
Meluha The Fern’s executive chef Parimal Sawantdemonstrated the ease of cooking gourmetmeals thatdiabetic-friendlyand could easily be prepared at home.
NutritionistsKripa Jalan and Raheela Hasan answered queries related to diabetes and its management, including a better understanding of the nutrition calculator and nutritional values of a meal.
