Despite finishing the game with 13 men, Kenmare Shamrocks claimed their second Munster title in four years with victory over Adare in yesterday's IFC decider at Mallow.

A combined total of 1-17 from their full-forward line of All-Ireland minor winning captain Sean O'Shea (1-5), man-of-the-match Stephen O'Brien (0-7) and Paul O'Connor (0-5) tore the Adare defence apart.

Kevin O'Sullivan also picked up a black card for the victors before half-time.

An All-Ireland semi-final against Lee Keegan's Westport is their prize .
