Kismat bags Miss IMA title

The Indian Military Academy organised its IMA Ball event for the Autumn Term 2016 here yesterday in which Kismat was adjudged Miss IMA.

The event full of fun and frolic is held towards the end of each term to mark the culmination of the rigorous training schedule of the passing out course. The IMA Ball is a precursor to the final event – The Passing-Out Parade of the IMA that will be held on December 10. The occasion was characterised by the display of a high sense of chivalry, courtesy, etiquette and gentlemanly conduct of the cadets.

The evening commenced with IMA Commandant Lt Gen SK Saini, who set the ball rolling. The Gentleman Cadets in evening military attire and the ladies in their dazzling best graced the gala event.

Several interesting events were organised. The highlight of the evening was the selection of Mr IMA and Miss IMA. Miss Kismat was adjudged Miss IMA and Gentleman Cadet Vipin Semwal was declared Mr IMA. The proud winners won exquisite gift hampers.
