3 booked for opening fire

TARN TARAN: Three persons have been booked under Sections 307, 379, 34 of the IPC and 25, 27, 54 and 59 of the Arms Act by the city police for opening indiscriminate fire at the local Mohindra Avenue last evening.

Three persons have been booked under Sections 307, 379, 34 of the IPC and 25, 27, 54 and 59 of the Arms Act by the city police for opening indiscriminate fire at the local Mohindra Avenue last evening. Four youths had a narrow escape in the firing. Two of them ave been identified as Jaideep Singh of Plasaur village and his driver Tarsem Singh, while the third one is yet to be identified. No arrests have been made. — OC
