WELL played, Dale Steyn.

The South African veteran only featured on the field in this Test series for a little over a day, but he’s just provided one of the best moments of the clashes between Australia and South Africa.

Steyn is back home recovering from a serious shoulder injury that he picked up during the first Test in Perth, which is expected to keep him out of action for up to six months.

Some have even questioned whether or not we’ll see Steyn in action in Test cricket again.

The pace legend has been keeping himself busy on social media, most notably during the past week with his take on the ball-tampering charge against Proteas captain Faf du Plessis.

Steyn attempted to clarify that he wasn’t talking about the Australian players specifically, but as he probably knows by now, it’s difficult to take things back on Twitter.

However Steyn all but did that on Sunday, with this brilliant tweet in response to Australia sealing victory in the Adelaide Test by seven wickets.

He followed that up with a congratulatory message for his teammates, telling them to “enjoy the celebrations”.
