Two wanted criminals held
Silchar Police on Saturday arrested two dreaded criminals and recovered a number of arms and fake currency notes from them.

SILCHAR: Silchar Police on Saturday arrested two dreaded criminals and recovered a number of arms and fake currency notes from them.
SP (Cachar) Rakesh Raushan said police raided their house at Saidpur village in Cachar district and arrested Akhtar Hussain Barbhuiya (32) and Azad Hussain Barbhuiya (30), recovering a factory-made pistol, two hand-made pistols, a rifle and fake Rs 500 notes. The SP said they were wanted for their involvement with an inter-state gang of car lifters, killing of drivers and kidnapping.
